Wrigley Field tickets & upcoming events

Wrigley Field is more than just a stadium; it’s an iconic piece of baseball history that’s been standing tall since 1914. Imagine the roar of the crowd as the Cubs clinched their first National League pennant in 1945 after a 39-year dry spell, that moment still echoes through the ballpark’s walls. Originally called Cubs Park, the venue was renamed Wrigley Field in 1926 to honor William Wrigley Jr., the chewing gum magnate who bought the team and helped shape its legendary status. Did you know it was the first MLB stadium to install a digital scoreboard back in 1988? Yeah, that was a game changer. If you’re into the full experience, the Rooftop Experience offers a killer view from above and a chance to soak in the park’s rich history. The Left Field seating area is notorious for being the rowdiest spot, perfect if you want the full Chicago baseball vibe. And for a touch of class, check out the 1914 Lounge, which blends luxury with the legacy of the ballpark. Getting there is pretty straightforward, hop on the blue line from O’Hare to Clark and Lake, then switch to the crimson line headed to Addison, or just stroll west from the conservatory if you’re feeling laid-back. Honestly, whether you're into the thrill of catching a game live or just soaking in the unique atmosphere, Wrigley Field delivers. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Chicago, and trust me, once you’re inside those historic walls, you’ll see why so many fans are hooked for life.
